COMMUNITY

Proudly giving back to Reno since 2009

At Sierra Homebuyers, we believe in more than just buying homes — we believe in strengthening the community we call home.

More Than Just Buying Homes

Since 2009, we've proudly served Reno and Northern Nevada homeowners — and given back to the people who make this community special.

Each year, our team identifies local nonprofits making a real difference in Northern Nevada and provides hands-on support through donations, supplies, and time. Below are the organizations we were proud to partner with most recently.

Veterans Guest House

In December 2025, our team had the privilege of providing a BBQ dinner for the veterans staying at the Veterans Guest House in Reno. The Veterans Guest House offers temporary lodging at no cost to veterans and their families receiving medical care at VA hospitals.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern Nevada

In July 2025, our team donated essential household supplies to the Ronald McDonald House in Reno — including pillows, paper towels, laundry detergent, tissues, and dryer sheets. Since 1987, Ronald McDonald House has supported families of seriously ill children receiving treatment far from home.

April 2025

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada

In April 2025, we donated electronics, toys, board games, books, and more to the Reno chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada. Since 2001, BBBSNN has been creating and supporting professionally-screened mentorship matches between adult volunteers and at-risk youth.

January 2025

Eddy House

In January 2025, Sierra Homebuyers donated essential supplies to the Eddy House in Reno — winter beanies, gloves, toiletries, instant meals, heavy-duty bags, socks, and more. Eddy House provides 24/7 shelter, food, hygiene resources, and case management for homeless and at-risk youth ages 18-24.
